Crendon Tru7 Honda team unchanged for 2026

The Crendon Tru7 Honda squad is excited to announce its three-rider team for next season which sees Conrad Mewse alongside Jamie Carpenter in MX1 again and Jake Nicholls in MX2 – the same as this season. The team will continue its focus on the revamped ACU British championship in 2026 where all three riders will compete. Details of other races the riders will contest will be announced once details are firmed up.
Mewse, now age 26, is currently leading both the ACU British championship and the NORA Pro series. He also aims to contest some MXGP rounds next season, on his Crendon Tru7 Honda CRF450R.

Carpenter, aged 26, was having his best ever MX1 campaign this year – his first season on the Crendon Tru7 Honda team. But at the recent Preston Docks British championship round he was innjured. He had reconstructive surgery on his knee this week so will be out of action for the rest of the season.

Nicholls – a former GP rider and now Tru7 Group’s managing director – only races part time and is enjoying riding the Honda CRF250R so he’ll be back for more of the same next year.

Mewse said: “I feel really at home with the Crendon Tru7 Honda team and am totally thrilled to be staying next season. Everyone from team owner Dave Thorpe to the team manager Ryan Thorpe, the mechanics Rob Boseley, Will Irvine and Luke Humphreys are totally professional and work incredibly hard to make sure we have the best chance of success at all times.

“The team are a level above the rest and the bike is always simply stunning. I’m proud to be part of the team. I’m hoping for even more success in future with the team and Honda.”

Carpenter said: “I’m so happy to be staying with the Crendon Tru7 Honda team next season – especially as I’m injured right now.”

Nicholls, now age 35, said: “Most people know I’m no longer a full-time professional rider as I work full-time. I’m having lots of fun racing this season so I’m more than happy to carry on.”
