Jago Geerts will miss the MXGP of Sweden this weekend. After a heavy fall in the opening race in Lommel, Belgium, ten days ago, Geerts has been managing some discomfort in his left knee. A medical assessment has since revealed a bone contusion, leading to the decision for the Belgian to sit out the Grand Prix this weekend to focus on his recovery.
