Davies back at Unadilla, Brown out

Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Cole Davies will make his Pro Motocross debut this weekend at the Unadilla National. The New Zealander returns to racing after breaking his arm at the Supercross season finale and looks to get some gate drops before the SMX Playoffs. Caden Dudney will also line up for his first Pro Motocross race this weekend at Unadilla to get some seat time in the pro ranks.

Pierce Brown will sit out the remaining rounds of the 2025 season to focus on preparation for the 2026 SuperMotocross World Championship. Although he thankfully avoided injury from his big crash in the first moto at Ironman, the decision was made by Brown and the team to focus on returning to 100%.

“It’s been a long time since my last gate drop, but we’re back and at Unadilla of all places. We’ve had five weeks on the bike since my injury, and I’m feeling solid thanks to Swannie (Gareth Swanepoel) and the Star Yamaha crew. Let’s keep it clean and keep building.” – @cole17davies

“I’m really excited to be racing a pro National this weekend. I’m just going to go learn what it’s like to race with those guys, and have some fun.” – @cdudney40

“I’m at a loss for words from Ironman. I worked my butt off to get back to the races, and it was a bummer to have it go the way it did. I’m going to take some time for myself so I can get my body 100% for supercross. We’ll take the wins from the weekend, learn from the losses, and move forward. Thanks to the team and everyone in my circle. We’ll be back!” – @_piercebrown
