Vencislav Toshev of AIT Racing finished in tenth place in the final round of the EMX125 Championship held in Lommel.
Saturday started off positively for Toshev. During time practice, he managed to set the seventh fastest lap time, securing a decent gate pick for both motos.
In the first moto, Toshev had a poor start and was forced to fight his way through the pack from the very back. With a strong rhythm, he passed many riders and crossed the finish line in a respectable twelfth place.
In the second moto, Toshev once again had to launch a comeback from the rear of the field. Throughout the race, he steadily worked his way up to seventh place, but a few small mistakes saw him finish eighth.
These results earned him tenth overall for the day, and he secured fifteenth place in the final championship standings. Toshev will now move up to the 250 class.
Jayson van Drunen made his comeback in the EMX125 Championship in Lommel. After a season plagued by injuries that kept him off the bike for an extended period, Van Drunen faced a tough weekend. He was forced to retire early in the first moto, and in the second moto, he crashed twice and finished 27th. Van Drunen is working hard to return to his former level, and the race in Lommel marked a positive step in regaining his form.
