The De Baets MX Team enjoyed a positive home Grand Prix in Lommel.
Lotte van Drunen competed in the MX2 class and held her own against the fastest MX2 riders in the world.
The young lady from Sliedrecht, the Netherlands, qualified in 26th position but performed even better during Sunday’s motos, finishing 24th and 23rd.
For Bertram Thorius, the final round of the EMX125 Championship took place in Lommel. He had a tough start in the first moto due to several crashes, which caused him to lose valuable time. However, as the race progressed, his performance improved and he managed to recover to 27th position.
In the second moto, he avoided early problems. During the opening laps, he rode around 20th place, but gradually moved up to 16th. Unfortunately, a crash in the second half of the moto disrupted his progress, and he had to settle for 19th place.
In the overall day classification, Thorius finished 22nd and ended the EMX125 Championship in 23rd position!
