Champions join forces for VMXdN

Prepare for the most thrilling motocross event of the year as VMXdN Foxhill 2025 gears up to bring together the world’s finest motocross riders on Twenty-two+ year old two strokes in a battle for victory!

If you thought the competition was already strong in the VMXdN International Team Race, the big names keep on signing up as we get ever closer to the gates opening on Thursday, August 21st for the four-day Bank holiday weekend MX Festival.

Team manager Dave King has put together a star-studded team headed up by Ben Townley, who really needs no introduction-

Townley who is very well known in the UK and has many fans worldwide comes with some credentials – having won both FIM world and AMA titles in his career. Who can forget the epic battles BT had with Foxhill regular Ryan Villopoto when they were both on the powerhouse Pro Circuit Kawasaki squad. As he is now a Yamaha brand ambassador and his son Levi is currently contracted to the Blu Cru, Ben will be racing one of the fleet of 2002 Yamaha YZ 250’s built by master bike builder DocWob. Townley will run his familiar 101 on the Yamaha 70th anniversary livery machine with Tony Neary on the spanners for the weekend.

Next up is the wild Welshman Ashley Greedy (who can forget his antics in the head-to-head races at the Arenacross) but more recent stellar performances in every discipline of our sport from beach racing to Arenacross to MX including expert champion in 2023, Ashley is a dab hand at them all, and he will leave nothing on the track when the gate drops, you can be sure of that!

Third and by no means least is the second World champion on the team-Stephen Clarke. Clarke had a stellar career as a youth racer culminating with the 85cc world championship, he has spent the majority of his career stateside training at the Millsaps facility in Cairo Georgia where he tuned his skills. “Scuba” as he is affectionately known is a head down, hard charging, never give up racer who on his own personal CR 500 with the number 14 plates will be at the sharp end.

VMXdN Foxhill is not just a Motocross event; it’s a celebration of the motocross community and the incredible riders and machines who make the sport what it is. The event brings together riders, teams, enthusiasts and fans from around the globe, creating an electrifying atmosphere and memories to last a lifetime.

All your VMXdN Foxhill memorabilia will be available from the VMXdN stand throughout the weekend and Fox clothing are currently producing a very limited quantity of a BT101 replica jersey which will be available to buy on the event merchandise stand, and Townley will be on hand to sign and take photographs with these of course.
