Brent van Doninck of JM Racing Honda was disqualified in the first moto of the MXGP in Loket. In the heat of battle with Mattia Guadagnini, the two riders made contact, causing Van Doninck to shoot into the pit lane. Despite this, he still managed to cross the finish line in ninth place.
However, Van Doninck was disqualified after the race because he didn’t stop in the pit lane.
A shame for what was otherwise a strong moto, but Van Doninck has shown that he is back in good form.
