Marcel Stauffer of the Osicka MX Team will have to miss his home MXGP in Loket, Czech Republic, this weekend. Just two weeks ago, Stauffer won the ADAC Masters race in Bielstein, but this past weekend he crashed at the start of the first moto at the ADAC Masters in Tensfeld, sustaining a knee injury.
Following several examinations, it has been confirmed that Stauffer has torn both his anterior and posterior cruciate ligaments. As a result, he is unable to race. However, he will still be present with the team this weekend to meet his fans.
Last year, Stauffer claimed the EMX2-T title in Loket!
