Jo Shimoda of the HRC Honda team has taken the overall victory in the AMA Pro Motocross 250 class at Washougal. Shimoda finished second in the first moto but dominated the second. He grabbed the lead early on and steadily pulled away from the chasing pack.
Haiden Deegan had a poor start and had to work his way up from deep in the field. He managed to finish second, but was never able to pose a real threat to Shimoda. Seth Hammaker took third place, ahead of Garrett Marchbanks and the strong-riding Austin Forkner.
Mikkel Haarup had a solid first half of the race and was running in third before crashing. He ultimately had to settle for seventh place.
