Jed Beaton has suffered a broken femur during a training session in preparation for the final two rounds of the Australian Motocross Championship.
Beaton was having a very strong season and held a 29-point lead in the title race with just two rounds remaining.
Due to this injury, it is highly likely that Beaton will lose his chance at the championship.
