Vennekens Scores Nine World Championship Points in Finland

Nicolas Vennekens of VNT Racing KTM secured 16th and 17th place finishes at the thirteenth round of the MX2 World Championship in Finland.

Things didn’t go smoothly for Vennekens, as he struggled to find his rhythm on the new circuit. Despite the challenges, he persevered and aimed to get the most out of the weekend.

Saturday brought a setback during the qualifying heat. After a crash at the start, Vennekens later encountered mechanical issues and was forced to retire from the race.

In Sunday’s races, held in sweltering heat, Vennekens found it tough going on the tricky track and again had trouble getting into his rhythm. Nonetheless, he pushed through and crossed the line in 16th and 17th positions, earning him nine valuable World Championship points.

The next Grand Prix will take place in Loket, Czech Republic, on the weekend of July 26 and 27!
