Kymiring, Finland – July 14, 2025 — AIT Racing secured a strong result at the EMX250 round in Finland, with Norwegian rider Håkon Osterhagen finishing inside the top ten.
The sandy circuit at the Kymiring became increasingly treacherous over the weekend, with soaring temperatures adding to the challenge for all riders.
Osterhagen faced a tough start in the opening EMX250 moto, struggling off the line and being forced to charge through the field. Unfortunately, a crash several laps in disrupted his rhythm, and he had to settle for 18th place.
In the second moto, Osterhagen got away much better from the start. However, he was pushed off the track in the second corner by another rider, losing several positions. Despite the setback, he rode a consistent race and crossed the line in 10th place, earning a solid top ten finish. These results placed him 12th overall for the day.
Teammate Ventsislav Toshev began the weekend with the 15th fastest time in qualifying. A poor start in the first EMX125 moto kept him from finding his flow, though he managed to finish 14th and collect seven valuable points.
Determined to improve, Toshev launched into the second race with renewed focus. Another mid-pack start meant a comeback was required, but his riding was smoother this time, and he finished 12th. However, a five-position penalty after the race dropped him to 17th in the final standings for the moto.
Toshev ended the day in 17th overall and currently sits 15th in the EMX125 Championship standings.
AIT Racing now looks ahead to the next round of the EMX Championship, scheduled to take place in Lommel, Belgium, in three weeks’ time.
