There’s good news for the injured Tim Gajser, who has received a positive update from his medical team regarding his return to action. Following this news, Gajser has now ridden his Honda CRF450R for the first time since his injury, and the session went very well. Of course, there is still work to be done before number 243 is back on the starting line, but this was a major step forward for the five-time world champion.
Tim Gajser:
“I won’t be lining up in Finland, but I wanted to let everyone know that I’m on the road to recovery and things are going well. My doctors told me that the progress with my shoulder has been excellent, and this week I was able to ride again for the first time — and it felt great. That’s an important milestone, and from here we can really start working toward my return. I haven’t enjoyed missing all these races, so I truly appreciate all the support from my fans and I’m looking forward to seeing you all again soon.”
