This Sunday (July 6), the Dutch Mid Season Race will take place at the Heerde circuit. With high interest from Grand Prix and EMX riders, this event is one you won’t want to miss just before the summer holidays.
The 250 class promises to be incredibly strong with big names like Kay de Wolf, Andrea Adamo, Cas Valk, Rick Elzinga, Ivano van Erp, Gyan Doensen, among others. Joining them is also Mathis Valin. The Frenchman, who clinched the EMX250 title last year, now rides for the official Kawasaki Racing Team and is a teammate of Romain Febvre—who will also be racing in Heerde, going head-to-head with the likes of Jeffrey Herlings and Glenn Coldenhoff.
Valin is a major French talent with a bright future ahead. Despite dealing with an injury earlier this year, he is now fully fit and has already secured five top-five finishes in his debut season in the MX2 World Championship.
With Valin’s participation, we now have four factory teams lined up in the 250 class.
