Germany unveils preliminary squad for the 2025 Motocross of Nations

The German motorcycling federation has officially announced the preliminary line-up for the prestigious 2025 Motocross of Nations. Team managers Marcel Dornhöfer and Karsten Schneider have nominated six riders for the extended squad ahead of the event, which will take place on October 4–5 in the United States at Ironman Raceway, Indiana.

Selected riders:

Ken Roczen – Individual MXoN winner in 2023 and Chamberlain Trophy winner in 2012. His participation is subject to recovery and clearance from his U.S.-based team.

Simon Längenfelder – Current leader of the MX2 World Championship. Young, fast, and remarkably consistent.

Max Nagl – Veteran rider and current frontrunner in the ADAC MX Masters.

Tom Koch – Factory rider for Beta, internationally experienced, and a multiple-time member of the German MXoN team.

Noah Ludwig – ADAC MX 2025 overall winner with strong performances in the MXGP class.

Maximilian Spies – In peak form, physically strong, and highly motivated.

The final line-up – consisting of riders in the MX1, MX2, and Open classes plus one reserve – will be announced in the coming weeks. In addition to sporting performance, logistical feasibility and manufacturer support are key factors in the decision-making process.

Statement from team management:

“We are proud to present a team that combines international experience with youthful strength. Our goal is clear: to compete as a strong, unified team in the USA.”

Organizational expansion and new partners

A new addition to the organizational team is Benjamin Weih, a specialist in motorsports brand communication. He will be responsible for sponsorship and marketing. HGT-Greifer and The Coffee Bay have joined as new partners, strengthening the existing sponsor network, which includes Ortema, LS2 Helmets, Werkzeugschleiferei Schneider, and MDS Designs.
