CRF250R, CRF450R and both Works Editions return to lead Honda’s 2026 range.
Honda has announced its 2026 CRF motocross line-up, with the CRF250R, CRF450R, and both Works Edition (WE) variants returning unchanged following this year’s significant overhaul.
The 2026 CRF250R and CRF450R continue to benefit from the major updates introduced in 2025, which included extensive chassis revisions aimed at optimising rigidity balance for improved comfort, front-end traction, and overall handling performance. The frame updates, along with new suspension valving and geometry changes, deliver a more planted and confidence-inspiring ride.
Engine refinements also remain, with the CRF250R retaining its straighter intake design and exhaust updates for enhanced throttle response and usable power. Meanwhile, the CRF450R carries on with its proven Unicam engine platform, featuring selectable engine maps, HSTC (Honda Selectable Torque Control), launch control, and handlebar-mounted mapping switch.
Back for another year, the CRF450RWE and CRF250RWE models continue to offer premium component upgrades straight from Honda’s factory racing program. These Works Edition bikes feature championship-level hardware, including Yoshimura exhaust systems, Hinson clutch baskets and covers, D.I.D DirtStar LT-X rims, Twin Air filters, Renthal Kevlar grips, and special graphics.
While the 2026 range is unchanged mechanically, the platform remains competitive from top to bottom, developed with feedback from Honda HRC athletes like Jett and Hunter Lawrence, Tim Gajser, and Honda’s in-house test team.
