Noel Zanocz Battles to Third Place in EMX250 Latvia

Noel Zanocz of the JM Honda Racing team secured third place at the eighth round of the EMX250 Championship in Kegums, Latvia.

After setting the fourth fastest time in qualifying, Zanocz got off to a strong start in the first moto, emerging from the first corner in second place. Unfortunately, he experienced rear brake issues from the very beginning and lost rear brake function entirely from the fifth lap onwards. As a result, he briefly went off track. He then engaged in a good battle with Francesco Garcia but eventually had to let him go, finishing the race in fifth place.

Heavy rainfall overnight from Saturday to Sunday turned the track into a muddy challenge for the second moto. Zanocz started in fifth position but had a small crash during the first lap, dropping back to twentieth. With consistently fast lap times, he made an impressive comeback to finish in second place.

With 5-2 results in the motos, Zanocz secured third place overall for the day and remains second in the EMX250 Championship standings.

David Braceras struggled to find the right pace on Saturday. A rear brake issue during the qualifying heat limited him to a fifteenth-place finish.

After making some changes to the bike, he felt more confident on Sunday, finishing twelfth and thirteenth in the motos.

These results earned him twelfth place overall for the day, placing him seventeenth in the championship standings.

Brent van Doninck continued his upward trend from last weekend in Germany, finishing twelfth and fifteenth in the MXGP class motos.

The JM Honda Racing team has a weekend off and will head to England next for the upcoming Grand Prix!
