On Sunday, July 6, the Dutch Mid Season Race will take place in Heerde. This event promises to be a great one, as many fast riders will line up at the start in both the 250cc and 500cc classes.
Recently, it was announced that Jeffrey Herlings, Glenn Coldenhoff, and Cas Valk have confirmed their participation in the event. Now, we can also confirm that Dutch talent Gyan Doensen will be competing in the 250cc class in Heerde.
Doensen is currently on a roll in the EMX250 Championship. In the last two rounds in France and Latvia, he managed to take his KTM machine to the podium. He finished third in France and impressively took second place last weekend in Latvia.
Doensen is no stranger to the sandy track of Heerde. Last year, he finished fourth at this circuit in the 125cc World Championship. With both Doensen and Valk competing, fans can look forward to seeing two top Dutch talents who are making a strong impression on the international stage.
Doensen rides for the team of former Grand Prix winner Shaun Simpson and will be bringing a large stack of posters to hand out to fans during the autograph session.
