Tom Vialle lost valuable points in the battle for the title during the second round of the AMA Pro Motocross Championship in Hangtown.
Vialle suffered a heavy crash in the first moto and injured his elbow. He was forced to retire from the race and scored no points. In the second moto, he had a poor gate pick and got off to a bad start. Despite fighting his way back to eighth place, he lost significant ground to Haiden Deegan in the title chase.
Vialle is now sixth in the standings, trailing Deegan by 48 points!
