Jarne Bervoets, rider for the MJC Yamaha team, will not compete in the eighth round of the EMX125 Championshipthis weekend in Teutschenthal, Germany.
Bervoets crashed last weekend during the opening lap of the first moto in Ernee, France, and was subsequently hit by another rider. As a result, he suffered a severely sprained thumb and will be unable to race this coming weekend.
However, Bervoets is scheduled to complete a training session on Sunday to assess the condition of his thumb in preparation for the next EMX125 round in Latvia, which is scheduled for the following weekend.
