The first moto of the EMX125 class in Ernee, France, was won by Nicolo Alvisi, ahead of Filippo Mantovani and Cole McCullough. Riccardo Pini finished fourth, followed by Dean Gregoire. Dani Heitink crossed the line in sixth, but received a five-place penalty due to excessive noise from his bike after the finish and was classified 11th.
Jarne Bervoets suffered a hard crash in the first lap and had to withdraw from the race. Mano Faure went down in the first corner after the start and also exited the race early.
