Daxton Bennick of Monster Energy Star Racing Yamaha will have to miss the first few rounds of the AMA Pro Motocross Championship.
Bennick sustained a compression fracture in his back during the Supercross event in Philadelphia. He has recovered well from the injury and is expected to resume riding soon.
He will return to racing once he is fully fit, aiming to achieve strong results in the second half of the championship.
