Oriol Oliver stays with Gabriel SS24 KTM

Gabriel SS24 KTM are delighted to announce that Oriol Oliver will continue with the team to see out the rest of the 2025 season including the MOTUL ACU British Championship.

After a difficult start to the season, Oriol joined the team after Max Werner’s first injury at the British championship round in Hawkstone Park. Having now worked together through four MX2 world championship rounds, we could see Oriol’s potential on the MX2 machine so with the support of KTM AT we were delighted to be able to offer him the chance to finish the 2025 European racing season with us in the MX2 class and the remaining seven rounds of the MOTUL ACU British championship.

This will not impact the return of Max Werner when he is fit and able to return to the EMX 250 championship in around 6 weeks time.

Oriol: “I’m really happy to continue with GABRIEL SS24 KTM for the rest of the season, I started with them and the thoughts were like, OK I have here a great opportunity that came at the right time. Just one week earlier I had announced that I was without a team for 2025, so I was excited to give to the team good results which they deserve. Still I think we need to show our full potential but it will come. To continue with the team makes my mind more calm, so I’m excited to work hard with the them and let’s see what we can achieve! Big thanks to Shaun, Simon, KTM and the whole crew for this opportunity.”

Team Manager Shaun Simpson: “From the moment we met Oriol I could see that he was serious about his racing not to mention the talent and speed he has on the bike. He is an easy guy to work with and very knowledgeable about his bike and set up so it has been great working with him. Unfortunately we had some ups and downs with the weather and results but I can see Oriol finishing top 10 in the MX2 class for the remainder of this season. It will be exciting to bring Oriol to the British Championship this weekend in Canada Heights and try to fight for the win and then we will see if we can gain enough points throughout the season to be in the title hunt for the Championship. It will be a busy second half of the season with Oriol, Gyan and Max Werner on his return but we are up for the challenge and look forward to some great results on track. Many thanks to KTM and all of our sponsors for their continued support.”
