This upcoming Sunday, May 18, the grand finale of the Dutch Masters of Motocross will take place in Markelo. All four titles will be decided on this day.
Romain Febvre is in a strong position in the 500 class. He has won all four motos so far and holds a 24-point lead over Jago Geerts.
It’s not the first time Febvre has had the chance to claim a Dutch title — back in 2011, he already secured the MX2 championship. Kawasaki last took the Dutch 500 title in 2015 with William Saris.
Febvre is having an excellent season this year. In addition to leading the Dutch Masters of Motocross, he is also at the top of the MXGP World Championship standings. So far, he has claimed seven podium finishes in eight rounds and has won two Grands Prix.
This Sunday, Febvre will be in action in Markelo, where he’ll face off against the likes of Jeffrey Herlings, Brian Bogers, and Jago Geerts.
