With a difficult weekend in Switzerland due to Bobby’s illness, we waited to hear back from the Doctors this week and can confirm that the chest X-ray came back clear, and the second round of antibiotics is taking good effect, so we will ride on Wednesday next week before Portugal.
Having had to pull out after 2 laps on Saturday’s race, we luckily had a day extra rest over Easter Sunday ready for the racing on Monday. He showed some good speed pushing into the top 10 but as the illness affected his fatigue he dropped down to 21st by the time of the finish line.
As normal, we will battle on and push for the front once Bobby is fit and healthy again.

Bobby Bruce – EMX250
“I’ve been to the doctors this week for some antibiotics and a chest X-Ray, which came back clear, which is a good sign. Hopefully, I’m firing on all cylinders for Portugal. ”
Steve Dixon – Team Manager
“Unfortunately, despite good speed, Bobby is still suffering from low energy, and doesn’t like making excuses. This week, he has more antibiotics to try and zap this illness, which has been around since Spain. We are not riding during the week, and that doesn’t help. The chest x-ray coming back clear, and no race this weekend will hopefully put us on course for Portugal.”
