The MXGP of Switzerland on Easter Monday was MANIC! While the Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MXGP & MX2 teams arrived in good spirits, the racing was slightly chaotic. After four tough rounds of racing with a broken hand and bruised ribs, Maxime Renaux suffered another massive crash.
But before the drama, we did witness some lighter moments with Team MJC Yamaha Official EMX125’s Dani Heitink and Jarne Bervoets. After some pre-race banter between the 15 & 16 year old kids, and some SCOUSE lessons (#IYKYK) Dani did manage to put his #GYTR kitted #YZ125 on the podium! (although Dani did have a rock smash his front tooth, breaking it in half!) Nevertheless, the young Dutchie uncorked his first-ever bottle of podium champagne!
