David Braceras shows promising speed in Arco di Trento

David Braceras of JM Racing Honda showcased strong speed during the fifth round of the MX2 World Championship in Arco di Trento, Italy.

In the week leading up to the race, Braceras and the team made significant progress with the bike setup, which gave him added confidence heading into the weekend. He started off strong by securing sixth place in time practice. He also delivered a solid performance in the qualifying heat, battling well in the pack. Although he wasn’t able to make up positions, he finished 13th and looked ahead to Sunday with confidence.

In the first moto, Braceras got off to a great start and held sixth and seventh position for a long time. Toward the end of the race, he lost some focus, which led to a few small mistakes. As a result, he dropped a few spots and finished in 11th place.

In the second moto, his start wasn’t as good, but he made a strong comeback and once again crossed the line in 11th place.

David Braceras commented: “It was a solid weekend, but I can’t be satisfied with this. I had the speed to finish higher. We’ll stay positive and keep working on the weak points so I can be stronger in the upcoming races.”

Noel Zanocz had a tough weekend in the EMX250 class. While he showed good speed, poor starts and crashes prevented him from achieving the results he was aiming for, finishing 7th and 19th. Despite this, he still holds second place in the championship standings after three rounds.

Brent van Doninck attempted a comeback but realized on Saturday that he was still experiencing too much discomfort in his upper leg. As a result, he decided not to race on Sunday.

JM Racing Honda will line up again next weekend for the next Grand Prix in Switzerland.
