Hakon Osterhagen of AIT Racing is continuing to build his form. During the second round of the EMX250 Championship in St. Jean d’Angely, France, Osterhagen showed some positive signs. In the second moto, he battled for a spot around tenth place but scored only 1 point after a fall.
Throughout the weekend, Hakon demonstrated good speed, but it didn’t translate into strong results. He still needs to work on his fitness and strength to complete the puzzle. During the first moto, he also suffered a fall, which resulted in a painful shoulder, and he could only finish in 23rd place.
The second moto went much better. He spent a long time in the top ten but fell in the final stages, dropping to 20th place.
In the overall standings for the day, Osterhagen finished in 28th place and is now 31st in the championship standings.
Jake Davies’ weekend did not go as hoped. Despite his best efforts to set a fast lap, he failed to make it through qualifying. He is continuing to work hard and aims to make improvements in the upcoming rounds.
Vencislav Toshev also faced a tough weekend in France. He finished 26th and 22nd in the motos, but this did not result in any points.
The AIT Racing team will be racing the first round of the Dutch Masters of Motocross in Harfsen this Sunday!
