Cooper Webb secured victory in the sixth round of the AMA Supercross Championship in Detroit. It was an intense battle with Ken Roczen, who led the race until three laps from the finish. Webb managed to overtake him and took the win ahead of Roczen and Chase Sexton.
Sexton had to fight his way up from last place after hitting the starting gate at the launch and also crashing in the first lap. Malcolm Stewart finished fourth, ahead of Justin Cooper.
After six rounds, Sexton and Webb are tied for the championship lead in points, while Roczen sits in third place, 16 points behind.
