INTMX last act in Montevarchi

The second and final act of the 2025 Internazionali d’Italia di Motocross EICMA Series will kick off this weekend on the Montevarchi track in the province of Arezzo. The historic track, recently completely renovated and which runs in the opposite side compare to before.

After the sumptuous double signed a week ago at the Tazio Nuvolari, Tim Gajser is ready for the second challenge of the season and together with Ruben Fernandez will line up at the start of the practice on the Miravalle circuit of Montevarchi with the official CRFs of the HRC team. For the first time in 2025 the Fantic Factory team will be complete, with Brian Bogers and Glenn Coldenhoff that will join Andrea Bonacorsi who climbed to the third step of the podium in Mantova at the end of two more than positive heats and who will be racing to complete their preparation in view of the start of the MXGP season in Argentina. They will have to compete with riders as Lucas Coenen, second on his debut on the KTM 450 managed by Team De Carli, with Isak Gifting who is racing at home with the Yamaha of the JK team and with the Beta duo of the MRT team, formed by Tom Koch and Ben Watson. Also Nicholas Lapucci will make his seasonal debut on the Kawasaki 450 and Ivo Monticelli, as well as Jan Pancar, with the KTM, while Mattia Guadagnini and Jeremy Seewer will make their return to the track but this time with the Desmo450 MX in their definitive colors. Also Giuseppe Tropepe and Federico Tuani with the Honda and Filippo Zonta riding his KTM will be competing for the Italian colors in Montevarchi.

In MX2, the 2023 World Champion, Andrea Adamo, who took the victory in the first race of the season, will have to deal with his two rivals but brand mates, Sacha Coenen and Simon Langenfelder, who are looking for revenge after missing the podium in Mantova. The one who did not miss the podium is Valerio Lata who with the official HRC CRF will try again in Montevarchi, while his teammate Ferruccio Zanchi will have an excellent opportunity in the home race to redeem the difficult race of a week ago, as will Simone Mancini with Fantic. Julius Mikula who fought for the podium with Lata with the TM Factory throughout the second Mantua heat will try to repeat the result of Cas Valk who has already succeeded at the first attempt with the KTM.

In 125, there is an open battle between the first-time winner, Filippo Mantovani with the KTM and the Yamaha duo formed by Jarne Bervoets and Dani Heitink for the overall lead in the standings, but eyes are on Francesco Bellei with the Fantic and on Nicolò Alvisi and Aaron Katona, very fast in Mantua with the KTMs of the Racestore team but unlucky in the race. Niccolò Mannini (Yamaha), Cesar Paine Diaz (Husqvarna), Riccardo Pini (TM) and Tyla Van De Poele (Yamaha), the outsiders in 125.

Live streaming of the races on FedermotoTV from 12.15; the events will be free for all FMI members (those who have not already done so can activate the dedicated package).
