Karlis Alberts Reisulis of Monster Energy Yamaha Factory Racing MX2 has completed his first pre-season race. He competed in the opening round of the Italian MX2 Championship in Mantova. Due to heavy rainfall, the conditions were extremely poor, turning the race into a true survival challenge.
In both motos, Reisulis had a bad start, making it even more difficult in these tough conditions. He struggled with visibility due to the wet, splashing sand. Despite this, Reisulis managed to complete two consistent motos, apart from a crash in the second moto, and secured seventh place in the overall standings with 8-7 finishes.
Karlis Alberts Reisulis’ comments:
“The conditions in Mantova were extreme. We still have some things to work on, but I’m happy to leave here without injuries after my crash in the second moto. We are ready to go into battle again next weekend.”
Next weekend, Monster Energy Yamaha Factory Racing MX2 will compete in the opening round of the French Championship in Lacapelle Marival.
