Alongside the return of two-time World Champion, Ken Roczen, the 2024 season will see the return of front-running riders including Dean Wilson, Vince Friese and two-time vice champion, Joey Savatgy. The 2024 season will commence on 26 October at BC Place in Vancouver for the WSX Canadian GP. The campaign will then continue at HBF Park in Perth, Australia, where WSX will hold its first-ever double-header event (Rounds Two and Three). The season will then conclude at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi on 4 December on the same week as the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Tom Burwell, CEO, FIM World Supercross Championship, said: “With the official start of the season quickly approaching, I’m thrilled to reveal our WSX class rider lineup. Our 450cc grid for 2024 is undoubtedly the strongest it has ever been, not only with Ken [Roczen] returning to defend his title and Joey [Savatgy] vying to beat him, but also with the addition of Eli [Tomac] who is an elite talent and icon of our sport. Our grid embodies the spirit and intensity of Supercross, and I have no doubt that 2024 will be a defining season for WSX. It will be one that we remember for a long time to come.”
