Liam Everts has won the first moto of the Grand Prix MX2 in Maggiora. Everts led the entire heat and managed to keep Simon Laengenfelder at a safe distance. Andrea Adamo finished third in front of his own audience.
Kay de Wolf crashed at the start but came back from last place to seventh position.
