Adam Sterry has finally announced his deal for the upcoming FIM Motocross World Championship. Sterry will move up to the premier MXGP division with JD Gunnex KTM Racing next year. The Czech-based outfit entered the class with Jose Butron this year and will continue to run the Spaniard in the Grand Prix series. Sterry offered up the following quote to MX Vice.
"I'm really happy and excited to join JD Gunnex KTM! Going to the 450 class it was always going to be difficult and especially finding a team with everything you need to compete at the sharp end! They believed in me and we have everything we need to be competitive. Excited to get started as I know the 450 will suit me more."
Sterry finished sixth in his final term in the MX2 category and acquired a career-best moto finish of second at the Grand Prix of Czechia.
