Round four of the AMCA Championship is upon us this weekend, with a new track for the championship: Bushton in South Somerset. Justin Barclay has been in building and prepping the track this week, ready for the forty-gate strong line up across all classes.
Recapping round three at Warmingham Lane, can the top five in the MX1 and MX2 classes be shaken up a little? After the success Team JSR had at the last round of the IMBA Championship in the Czech Republic with James Dodd and Ashley Thomas finishing in first and second, can they pull the same out of the bag this weekend at Bushton? Stay tuned to the MX Vice Youth and Amateur Instagram across the weekend for live results and interviews across Sunday's racing.
There is more to change up the paddock this weekend, as Team 772 is a shake up! "With our injuries this season with other riders leaving us two riders down, we wanted to keep our sponsor support on track and we have been lucky enough to draft in AMCA Championship regular Richard Gray to compete in the MX1 class and somehow managed to bring in Lewis King out of retirement this weekend for the MX2class," team manager Craig Chamberlain told MX Vice exclusively. "Absolutely no pressure on these guys this weekend. We are happy to help two great lads to fit in with the rest of our crazy bunch."
Keep an eye out for Team 772 in the paddock this weekend. If you want to come along and watch, stick SN4 7PY into your sat nav and head over to Bushton.
