One week on from scorching temperatures that prompted fantastic racing across the United Kingdom, rain has forced RHL Activities to postpone the second round of the British Youth Championship. The following statement was released by the promoters moments ago.
"A meeting was held today with the landowner, clerk of course and medical team to discuss the running of round two of the Judd KTM British Youth Championship. Based on the information from the Met Office and the unstable ever-changing weather reports, along with the expertise of those involved in the meeting, the decision has been made to postpone round two of the championship. We will contact you as soon as the team have secured the new venue."
Following the cancellation of round two, those contesting the BYC will now turn their attention to the third round that will run at Whitby on June 08/09.
