The fire is still very much burning bright for Chad Yarranton and the Passion Racing team, as they enter into their eighth season in 2019. The team has also expanded this off-season, recruiting the services of two new riders to complete the four-rider line-up.
Leonni Tighe and Aaron Colley will be joined by Billy King and Jansen Day, who rode for the team back in 2016 and shared some of his career-best results finishing second overall in the AMCA MX2 British Championship. Tighe will concentrate her efforts on recovering from a recent knee injury to race in the Women's British Motocross Championship again, whereas King, Colley and Day will all fight for the taste of victory in the Michelin MX Nationals.
"Really excited to have joined the passion racing crew this year," Billy King said. "Chad and all the sponsors are amazing and I can't thank them enough for all the support they have given me. It is a shame that it hasn't started as we planned, but we will be back for the second half of the season at the MX nationals and hopefully bring home some good results for Chad and the team and continue to build a long-term relationship."
The team have also attracted new partners to support them throughout next season. Manchester Motorcycles, Concept Security Logistics, Bowen Pies, OLFI Action Cameras are all aboard the programme. They have most recently secured a deal from big corporate company WD40 too.
