Plans for 250 project at Ducati take shape

It looks like Ducati is planning to develop a 250 motocross bike as well. Ducati has spent a lot of time developing the Desmo450 MX motocross bike in recent years. This year they have made a positive start in the competition with Alessandro Lupino taking the Italian title in the MX1 class. In addition, Lupino managed to finish twelfth in a moto at the final Grand Prix in Spain and Antonio Cairoli qualified seventh for the Dutch Grand Prix in Arnhem.

Next year, Ducati will compete in the MXGP World Championship with Jeremy Seewer and Mattia Guadagnini, but the development of their motocross bikes continues in the 250 class. The Beddini Racing Team, which competed in the EMX250 Championship this year with Valerio Lata and finished second, will take care of the development. Alessandro Lupino will test the equipment and will be assisted by multiple world champion, Antonio Cairoli.

As with the Desmo450, the team will start in the Italian Championship with the aim of starting in the MX2 World Championship in the future. When there is more official news we will post it here!
