Calvin Vlaanderen crashed at the start of the first moto of the MXGP in Arnhem and suffered a knee injury. Vlaanderen has given an update on its situation today. He has since undergone surgery and has started rehabilitation. Vlaanderen will not race the Grand Prix’s of Turkey and China anyway, so he will unfortunately drop in the standings of the world championship. At the moment, Vlaanderen is still fifth, but Romain Febvre and Glenn Coldenhoff are starting to get closer.
