Following a lengthy fight with a knee injury, which he just overcame, Jordan Booker had his sights set on a successful return to the Maxxis British Championship. However, another cruel twist of fate has forced him onto the sidelines again. A crash at FatCat Moto Parc earlier this week left him with a broken sternum, bruised lung and fractured L1.
"Glad to see our man Jordan Booker is out of theatre and hopefully on the way to a full recovery," the MVR-D Husqvarna team wrote on social media. "Crash on Thursday; broken sternum, bruised lung and fractured L1. Some scary times trackside. Big thanks to all the boys there that day… Justin Morris, Mel Pocock, Jordan Divall, Ben Watson, Matt Burrows, Ryan Hawkridge, Ben Franklin, the ambulance crew, air ambulance and the other boys/girls who helped out! Proud of the way everyone rallied."
It remains to be seen how long these injuries will sideline Booker for, but returning to one hundred percent is undoubtedly the priority.
