Wilvo Yamaha MXGP had such a turbulent time of it in the second moto at the Grand Prix of Latvia. Shaun Simpson broke his hand, as he explained exclusively to us post-race, and Arnaud Tonus hit the ground in a spectacular fashion. Although ‘4' got stretchered off and received urgent medical attention, it seems that he is fine and will be ready to race at Teutschenthal.
"Arnaud was lucky, I think, as he had a big crash and it seems that everything is okay," Louis Vosters explained in a team press release. "Overall, it was not the best weekend." Vosters went on to explain that he "expects him back in Teutschenthal" in two weeks.
It is worth noting that Arnaud Tonus was walking around the paddock at the end of the day, so the signs do indeed indicate that he'll be ready to go at the Grand Prix of Germany.
