FIM Enduro Vintage Trophy arrives in Camerino, Italy

Eagerly anticipated by many, the 2024 edition of the FIM Enduro Vintage Trophy (EVT) readies itself for the opening day in Camerino, Italy, with the event running from 4-7 September. Exactly fifty years since Camerino and the Marche Region last held the FIM International Six Days Trial (ISDT) in 1974, the FIM Enduro Vintage Trophy brings back the timeless passion for fans of that golden era.

  • Italy’s Camerino set to host FIM Enduro Vintage Trophy
  • Over four hundred riders are set to compete in the four-day event
  • Opening ceremony takes place tonight in Camerino

The picturesque town of Camerino in central Italy will be the epicentre for all things vintage enduro this week as it welcomes the popular FIM Enduro Vintage Trophy. Since its inception in 2016, before becoming a standalone event in 2021, the enduro has fast become an annual pilgrimage for riders and fans the world over.

Celebrating iconic machinery from the early 1970s through to the early 1990s, while also commemorating enduro greats and past champions, the FIM Enduro Vintage Trophy is as much about reminiscing times past as it is about the racing.

Spectacular Terrain Awaits Competitors

With a race format tailored specifically for classic enduro machinery, the racing takes place across four days, taking in the enjoyable and testing terrain of the Marche Region, while showcasing its incredible scenery.

The opening day of racing begins with the traditional acceleration test. The shortest of the week at just twenty kilometres, the loop will allow riders to ease into the event before concluding with an acceleration test on returning to the paddock. Day two will take competitors on a route north of Camerino towards San Severino Marche. The seventy-five-kilometre loop, to be completed twice, will feature two Cross Tests and one Enduro Test per lap.

Day three brings riders and machines south of Camerino towards Pieve Torina. The seventy-kilometre loop, to be completed twice, will also feature two Cross Tests and one Enduro Test. The end-of-day service will prove a welcome sight for many, with just the Day Four Final Special Test at the San Pacifico International Crossodrome in San Severino Marche remaining to bring this year’s FIM Enduro Vintage Trophy to a close.
