Gajser wins opening moto MXGP Portugal, DNF Herlings

Tim Gajser has won the opening moto of the MXGP in Portugal. The conditions were really tough due to the rain and mud. Gajser was the smartest rider and kept his head cool till the finish. He won in front of Pauls Jonass and Romain Febvre.

Fantic riders Glenn Coldenhoff and Brian Bogers came home in fourth and fifth position. Jorge Prado had a difficult moto and couldn’t do more than fifteenth position. Jeffrey Herlings was leading in the beginning of the race but unfortunately he got a mechanical problem while riding in second position and was forced to retire!
